A Return to Tradition
The MSHA board decided to return this coming years tournament formats to more traditional arrangements. The Golden Master's events will once again be grouped with the other Open, A, B, and C class events instead of with the other age groups. This will allow our growing over-fifty crowd more opportunities for tournament play. The board also heard your complaints about the mixed-age doubles and decided to drop the five year differential requirement (40/45, 50/55, 60/65) and return to straight Master's (40+), Golden Master's (50+) and Super Master's (60+). The Senior's age cut-off will continue at 30+. And we will once again offer both Open and A divisions in singles and doubles.
In other board action, the 1994-95 officers were re-elected to the same offices for 1995-96. They are:
- Barry Becklin - president
- Darryl Ekstrom - vice president
- Larry Larson - treasurer
- Sheldon Silberman - secretary
