U.S. Naval Academy
The Naval Academy exists to educate and train young people for
careers in the Navy and Marine Corps. Applying for the Academy is
more complicated than applying for a civilian college. Specifically,
one must be timely in applying for -- and obtaining -- a nomination.
Generally speaking, Oregon Senators and Representatives start
selecting their nominees nine months before a class is assembled --
