Translation Conventions for GNOME

1. use normalized, Early West Saxon forms of words, as cited in the Clark Hall Anglo-Saxon Dictionary

2. mark long vowels with a macron so as to distinguish between different words. [Caps: Ǽ Á É Í Ó Ú Ý - lower case: á ǽ é í ó ú ý]

3. use þ for voiceless th, and ð for voiced.
