In 1972, Aztec Two-Step, whose name comes from a poem by beat poet Lawrence Ferlinghetti, burst upon the scene with their self-titled debut album on Elektra Records. Since then Rex Fowler and Neal Shulman have spent a lifetime making music together as the folk/rock duo Aztec Two-Step. Today, the group continues to impress audiences with intelligent songwriting, dazzling acoustic lead guitar, and inspiring harmonies. They are one of acoustic music’s most popular and enduring acts.

Latin Quintet
Born in the musical community of Woodstock NY, lead man Josh Robinson began playing percussion at an early age on pots and pans. He performed with Sankofa, an African drum and dance ensemble in New York for five years. He has studied at AMLA (Asociacion de Musicos Latinoamericanos) in Philadelphia, and recently went to Cuba and Brazil for studies in drum, dance and musicology. Rhythm and Roots plays Latin, Bossa Nova, Samba and R&B.
