CHANCE (Christian Homeschoolers Aiming to Nurture Character & Excellence) is a homeschool group based in Mineral, Virginia - but has members in Richmond. This co-op requires a commitment on the part of each mom to teach one class each semester, and a commitment to pursue godliness. They have openings in the Fall.

Ignite the Fire. Christian Preschool homeschool Co-op, based in Chesterfield county. "Upholding biblical Christian values of submission to God and loving and nurturing training of our children to honor God."

Hanover Homeschoolers. A loosely organized inclusive support group of and for homeschooling families with members from all over the region. They welcome homeschoolers of all faiths and homeschooling styles. Membership is free and activities are open to all. Monthly meetings and free monthly e-newsletter.

East Henrico Homeschooler. This group is specifically geared to East Richmond, East Henrico, New Kent etc, but anyone can join. Offer ideas and get togethers.

Chesterfield Preschool Homeschoolers. An inclusive list of homeschoolers in the Chesterfield area with preschool aged children, for sharing ideas, activities, field trips, friendship, and arranging playgroups.

Chesterfield Homeschoolers LAFH. A comprehensive homeschool support group for residents of Chesterfield County and the surrounding areas. Offers online support and discussion, face-to-face support group meetings, field trip opportunities, park days, learning co-ops, newsletter and much more. It is a non-sectarian group, welcoming those of any faith, race or educational style.

Home Educators Association of Virginia is a member-supported, statewide, nonprofit homeschool association that operates from a biblical worldview.

A large, active, statewide fully inclusive e-mail list for in-depth discussion of issues affecting homeschooling, and for news about media articles and programs, proposed legislation, research, conferences and other information of interest to Virginia homeschoolers.

Charlotte Mason Support Group. Two support groups meeting to discuss practical application of Charlotte Mason's philosophy to develop the natural love of learning in children. Groups will meet 3rd Tuesday of the month at a location in southside (639-3713) and western Hanover (883-7956).

Autism/Asperger Homeschool Group. For parents who homeschool their child on the autism/ Asperger spectrum. Meets monthly on Tues, 7-8:30pm at River Rd United Methodist Church, 8800 River Rd. Contact Paula for more details.

HEARTS in Richmond. HEARTS (Homeschoolers Educating, Assisting, and Reaching-out Through Service) is a group which provides "service to our communities while increasing public awareness, understanding, and acceptance of home education".

Homeschooling Mom's Social Club. This group is designed for mothers who homeschool their children and would like an occasion to meet and discuss homeschooling and other issues of interest in Richmond, Virginia.
