I was actually seeking a way to leave messages for the band. They will be playing in St. Louis on June 27th. Is there a way of doing this? What do they address would they possibly respond to? Also, is there an active fan club? If so, then where would I find it? Thanks very much, Bill |

Do the Moody's make any of the exorbant money charged for these seats? First in line for tickets and end up 37 rows back? Is this the norm or just a St. Louis problem? After paying five times the face value of the ticket price we got GREAT seats and really enjoyed the show, but I don't think this is the way it should be. Any answers? Signed, Frustrated |

They hadn't lost a beat. I was sorry to see Mike not be a part of the Moodies anymore, but they were still as tremendous as ever. They played about 80% of old stand by hits and 20% newer material. If there is any way for you to attend the concert on your area, you owe it to yourself to go. By the way, Ray Thomas was really hot on flute, especially when he played "Timothy Leary's Dead". If there is any way for you to see them in concert, you owe it to yourself to go see them. You will be glad you did. Joel |

The Moody Blues have always clicked for me, even when I thought I was their only fan, years ago. About '93, I saw them for the first time and I felt tremendously privileged to see them live. They are truly blessed with great talents as songwriters, poets and musicians. It's the music that matters, not how outrageous you can be "onstage". Thank you. P.S. I buy everything I can on the Moodies, for my "collection". |

Whitey Laidlaw Website: Referred by: AltaVista From: British Columbia, Canada Time: 1997-05-03 17:41:00 Comments: Greetings ! You have a very nice site. The first Moodies show I attended was the EGBDF tour, in Toronto. This blew my mind. I was a Moodies fan before this show, but became a diehard during it. I found it hard to believe, that 5 guys could play live, like they did that night! On November 19/92, I was lucky enough to meet The Moody Blues after a show in Vancouver. In true groupie fashion, I waited for them to come out of the venue's stage door. It was worth the wait! They were very nice. They all signed the cover of the album TOCCC, and Justin signed the Night Flight album for me as well.( I took these two covers to the show, just in case.) in closing, I would like to say, that the Moodies have made some of the greatest music of all time. I feel honored and proud, to call myself a Moody Blues fan. Best Wishes, Whitey |

We are going to see them June 14, 1997 at Blossom Music Center. This will be our fifth Moody Blues concert. Have enjoyed them all. Would like to know if there is a fan club address or e.mail address. And of course how do you ever get to meet them. Thank you. |

During the last concert I photographed, at the Washington, DC "Wolftrap" pavillion, I shot 10 rolls of film (36 shots ea). I've met the band on several occasions and even have had "private" conversations with Justin (just he and I alone in a private dressing room). (What an experience!! :) ). Some of the stories I could tell..... Not to mention "Off-The-Console" master tapes of a couple of shows!! Talk about neat.....! Take care. Sincerely, Jerry B. Williams jwilliams@datalabsinc.com |
