But only the ones at Blossem music center. my dad has all of there records exept to our childeren's childeren's childern,and the newest ones since red rock's. I'm working on getting all of them on cd,] but their sooooo expensive,anything is expensive on my allowence though. I was also wondering,do you have any Idea were I can get the records my dad dosn't have at a decent price? no one sells them anymore and I want to finish his collection this christmas. Tickets were on for cash only. My credit card was no good to me. It was an outdoor event so I was able to join about a hundred people in the parking ramp across the street. The band sounded great! (he played the flute) in a tiny bar on the upper east side of NYC. It may have been their first gig in the US and as everyone packed in, i was pushed forward. When i saw them at great woods a couple of years ago from a distance, I borrowed binoculars to see if it was him. Age has not changed those beautiful eyes. It was an amazing experience, and i shall never forget looking up at Justin Hayward as he sang. Quite a rememberance, and I hope to see them next year close up after just 30 years! |

Also scheduled were the Moody Blues, Joe Tex, Boyce & Hart, and Tiny Tim. I was there to see my new favorite band, The Moody Blues. Well they came to the stage and gave us the bad news. Their instruments were on the wrong plane and they couldn't play. Major disappointment! They remained my favorite group for the next quarter century. Then in June 1996 I had my chance again to see them. It was worth the wait! Best thing the UK ever exported to the US! Thanks guys for all the pleasure you've brought me over the years. |

It was well worth the trip. We saw them for the first time in Missoula,Mt a month ago. They were so good, they did not have the symphony there but they are outstanding with or without them. We wanted to see them again so we decided to travel to Fargo and to our delight they had the symphony there and they were a "CLASS ACT" We just love them!!!!! what a trill it was. |

I don't suppose you have, or know anyone who has, any GOOD photos for sale or trade from the 1st Red Rocks orchestra concert ??. I was lucky enough to be able to go to both nights, but was so far back that even the video camera I had with me first night was not worth using. If you have done any of the present US tour, I hope that you have enjoyed them. I certainly enjoyed the 10 concerts on the recent UK tour which I did. If you get Char's excellent "Moody Mania" you will have seen some of my photos from that tour. |

Moodys are coming out with a new album They are doing one of the new songs in concert this summer. I myself am also only 17 I have been a moody blues fan all my life. And I have also been to over 100 shows. I am one of the lucky ones, my mom loves them. She has taken me to all of them including the casino tours. I have yet to go to Vagas, but I am looking foward to it. And also, the ticket sales are like that everywhere. And just a little advise incase you ever get to meet them, Graeme and Gordon are the best. For those of you going to the shows this summer, c-u-there. P.S. Yes they are coming to IN. Andrea |

We have seen them I think 8 or 9 times now with hopes to see them again June 27th in St Louis at the Riverport Amptheater. We saw them for the first time here in Evansville in 1984 for thier "Present" album. I didn't really know them until then. I liked them but until I saw them I never relized the power of their music. I bought a 6 disk CD changer for my truck and Moody's is all I have on two of three cartridges. I have more cartridges waiting for me at the store and as soo as I finish my collection. It is a shame the Moody Blues are currently not scheduled to arrive in my town. They were here several years ago with our orchestra and it was amazing! You may hear the Red Rocks CD or see the video, but the see it in person is the best thing in the world. I do miss Mike Pinder with the group though. |
