DREAMS
AND VISIONS
From the dawn of Adam and Eve God has spoken through, dreams, visions and inner voices , some times through his Prophets and Saints.

Now is the time for you to come
with me
and dream the
dreams of
secrets
yet to be told .
Go seek at night the glory of the Lord, the holy presence there.
There exists a land halfway from here to there.
The Lord desires thee, thy world eternal witness to bear.
I cannot stay; I leave this mortal ark behind with
lighting speed braking through space, I leave behind my busy day
and sail to a land halfway from here to there.
The mind leaves the body limp held with slumber deep rising endlessly on the cosmic stairs.
Seek thy knowledge, seek thy wisdom, let all thy world behold.
All men, the judgment of their deeds to see, let all the world behold.
The Lord desires thee to tell thou stories here.
Behold, I dream a dream from God.
Thou art his messenger carrier of faith.
Let his message come, what visions do thou bring upon the golden pillar here.
O sleeper wake and, arise and tell us what thou bear
is it salvation or much hell to bear.
Last night, as thou slept what message do thy bear
is it the visions from God thy bear
whose image held with slumber deep he wishes thou to tell

The Escape From God
by Paul Tillich
O Lord, thou hast searched
me and known me!
Thou knowest when I sit down and when I rise up;
thou discernest my thoughts from afar.
Thou searchest out my path
and my lying down,
and art acquainted with all my ways.
Even before a word is on my
tongue,
lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether.
Thou dost beset me behind
and before,
and layest thy hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too
wonderful for me;
it is high and I cannot attain it.
Whither shall I go from thy
Spirit?
Or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
If I ascend to heaven, thou
art there!
If I make my bed in Sheol, thou art there!
If I take the wings of the
morning
and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
even there thy hand shall lead me,
and thy right hand shall hold me.
If I say, "Let only
darkness cover me,
and the light about me be night,"
even the darkness is not dark to thee,
the night is bright as the day;
for darkness is as light with thee.
For thou didst form my
inward parts,
thou didst knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise thee, for thou art
fearful and wonderful.
Wonderful are thy works!
Thou knowest me right well!
my frame was not hidden from thee,
when I was being made in secret,
intricately wrought in the depths of the earth.
Thy eyes beheld my unformed
substance
in thy book were written, every one of them,
the days that were formed for me,
when as yet there was none of them.
How precious to me are thy
thoughts, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
If I would count them, they are more than the sand.
When I awake, I am still
with thee
O that thou wouldst slay the wicked, O God,
and that men of blood would depart from me,
men who maliciously defy thee,
who lift themselves up against thee for evil!
Do I not hate them that hate
thee, O Lord?
And do I not loathe them that rise up against thee?
I hate them with perfect
hatred;
I count them my enemies.
Search me, O God, and know
my heart!
Try me and know my thoughts!
And see if there be any
wicked way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting!

Deliver Them from Purgatory
My Jesus, by the sorrows Thou didst suffer in Thine agony in the Garden, in Thy scourging and crowning with thorns, on the way to Calvary, in Thy crucifixion and death, have mercy on the souls in purgatory, and especially on those that are most forsaken; do Thou deliver them from the terrible torments they endure; call them and admit them to Thy most sweet embrace in paradise. Amen.

It shall come to pass in the Last days saith the Lord |
Foot Prints
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the LORD. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand; one belonging to him, and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that at many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the LORD about it. "LORD... you said that once I decided to follow You, You'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I do not understand why You'd leave me when I needed You the most."
The LORD replied, "My precious, precious child, I love and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.

I
don't know just what I’d do
If the Lord wasn't walking by my side

“The LORD is my
shepherd; I shall not want. He
Maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his
name’s sake. Yea though I WALK
THROUGH THE VALLEY OF THE SHADOW OF DEATH, I will fear no
evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou
anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I
will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.” (Psalms 23)

Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found
Was blind, but now I see.
'Twas grace that taught my heart to
fear,
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed!
Through many dangers, toils and
snares,
I have already come;
'Tis grace hath brought me safe thus
far,
And grace will lead me home.
And when we've been there ten
thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun,
We’ve no less days to sing God’s
praise
Than when we’d first begun. |
To soon we'll come to the end of life's journey, God be with you.
