Bill Frist on Church and State

Church + State = Taliban

Bill Frist continues to push this country toward a theocracy and rewrite of the Constitution based on his religious beliefs. 

Christian prayer in schools, replacement of the teaching of evolution with the teaching of stories in schools, no rights for those born homosexual rather than heterosexual, acceptance of hate crimes against non-believers,  the addition of religion as an item we are trying to force on a population with our military...

American "Church & State" Facts:

(1)  "theocracy" defined: a political unit governed by a deity, or by officials thought to be divinely guided.   source

(2)   Bill of Rights, Amendment I: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;..."

The amendment says what it says, and does not include the phrase "separation of church and state".  An amendment is not a thick stack of rules and regulations.  "Separation of church and state" was written by Thomas Jefferson in a letter in which he clarified his original intent (see 3 below).

(3)   "Believing that religion is a matter which lies solely between man and his God, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship...their Legislature should make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, thus building a wall of separation between church and state."
