What-New_Moose2010 "Hoosier Dollars" CalendarsWhat-New_Moose

 Calendars are on sale at the lodge for $10 each, just asks an officer.  Make sure you keep the calendar and fill out the stub and turn it in with your $10.  You do not need to be a member to have your name entered! Checks are mailed directly to the winner! Drawings are held each day for $50.   Saturdays’ drawings are $250, and some special days win $1000!  More details are on the calendar. This will be going on all year for 2010! We are sending the stubs in mid December so we can have winners! This is sponsored by our Indiana Moose Association and all proceeds go to Moose Scholarship Funds and Moose Charity projects.  The Loyal Order of Moose is a fraternal and service organization founded in 1888, with nearly 1.5 million men and women in roughly 2,000 Lodges and 1600 chapters, in all 50 states and four Canadian provinces, plus Great Britain and Bermuda.  

     Along with other units of Moose International, the Loyal Order of Moose supports the operation of Mooseheart Child City & School, a 1,000-acre community for children and teens in need, located 40 miles west of Chicago; and Moosehaven(Moosehaven’s Brandon Place),, a 63-acre retirement community for its members near Jacksonville, FL. Additionally, Moose Lodges conduct approximately $93 million worth of community service (counting monetary donations and volunteer hours worked) annually.
