Be A Piece

of the Solution

  

Sponsors of One Member
     During the 'Be A Piece of the Solution"' campaign which began May 1, 2009 and runs through April 30, 2010, in recognition of sponsoring just one new member applicant, Lodge and Chapter sponsors will receive the "Be A Piece of the Solution"  lapel pin.

Sponsors of Five Members
     Lodge members who earn membership in the Moose International 5 Club, by sponsoring five applicants in the "Be A Piece of the Solution" campaign, will receive their personalized and laminated 2009-2010 Moose International 5 Club wallet card.  Funds typically spent on the '5 Club' awards will be redirected to the Sidewalk Replacement Capital Project on our Mooseheart Campus.  2009-2010 '4 Club' members will be recognized for their generosity in support of this project. *The Lodge division of the Moose Intl. 5 Club is made possible through the financial support of our State and Provincial Moose Associations.

     $500 Weekly Cash Prizes for 'Piece of the Solution' Member Sponsors!    

Each week, beginning on Thursday, June 11, 2009 and concluding on Thursday, May 6, 2010, two sponsors will be randomly drawn from all sponsors during the 'Be a Piece of the Solution' membership campaign. Those members' Lodges or Chapters - the primary Lodge or Chapter in the case of a multiple member - will receive a $500 check from the Membership Department at Moose International. Additionally, each sponsor who is drawn will receive a certificate in appreciation of his or her participation in the 'Be a Piece of the Solution' campaign.

Your Lodge will want to do everything possible to encourage your members to sponsor their qualified relatives, friends and associates to become members of your Lodge. Remember, the more applications reported, the greater the chance that your Lodge will receive one, or more, of these $500 checks.

Are you the Parent or Legal Guardian of a High School Junior? Enter your Class of 2010 high school students NOW for a chance to win a $1,000 R. Robert Dale Scholarship! There is no better way to help the youth of the Fraternity than to offer them the opportunity to further their education, and that is exactly what the R. Robert Dale Scholarship is all about. The following requirements must be met in order to be eligible for the R. Robert Dale Scholarship. The applicant must: Be a student in the graduating Class of 2010 Have a father, mother, step-parent or legal guardian who is a paid up member of the Moose NOTE: GRANDPARENTS CANNOT SUBMIT AN APPLICATION UNLESS THEY HAVE LEGAL GUARDIANSHIP Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 (C+) or higher on a 4.0 scale Send the completed application by deadline (application must be completed in its entirety) The application can be found in the members-only section of www.mooseintl.org at: http://www.mooseintl.org/portal/Publications/Press/RRobertDale.asp. or inquire with your Lodge Administrator/Chapter Recorder.
