Here's the problem.
Any visitor to the MOQ intro page at robertpirsig.org is presented two options for judging the worth of Pirsig's work. One is suggested by Nobel laureate Harry Kroto, who says that ZMM is "what it's all about". The other is suggested by New York Newsday's Dan Cryer who quips, "like the village crank hanging out at the public library, the guy really believes he has discovered the secret of the universe". The intro page goes on to claim that the website's purpose is to help the reader decide between these two options, and directs the reader to the MOQ Conference papers as a way of assisting in this matter.
What remains unchallenged about my paper are the ideas I parodied, which I consider to be the most important thing in all of this. That alone has to have some value to someone who's trying to make up their mind about the MOQ. Everything else said about my hoax is a side-show. Shouldn't robertpirsig.org display my paper amongst the other conference papers? It still purports to claim that its purpose is to help us decide whether Robert Pirsig is a visionary genius or village crank.
