My version of Photography 101
The first step to getting good photographs: you have to be able to get to the places you find interesting and worth photographing (for me see my Jeep and Trails page).
The second step: take as many pictures as you can, especially if you have a digital camera. You are bound to get a good picture sooner or later.
Lastly: Learn the ins and outs of your camera system. Play with settings, try new things, take a class if you wish or read about it online.
I have used 35mm film forever but am now switching to digital for many reasons, which I won’t go into here. Another very important thing to keep in mind - Beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder. All that matters is your own opinion of the pictures you take. Seriously, if you like them and they have meaning for you, everyone else can take a hike.
These pages, as with all pages on this site, will be updated as I have time. Hopefully, I can keep at this and add more pictures regularly, but don’t hold your breath. Keep checking back!
Also please note, while my primary goal is not the sale of my pictures, if you happen to see something that you need to have either in an office, your home, a web site etc, please let me know via e-mail (located at the main page). Most pictures I put up here have been scanned in so they can be printed up to 20X30 (unframed dimension). Those that aren’t, can be, given the time and effort. The pictures on the site are not the highest quality for a reason.
