SO...LET'S GO OVER THE
TCA INSTRUCTIONS...

***WASH FACE FIRST***
If your skin is very sensitive, you might want to "test" an area the day before you do the peel

If you're skin is excessively oily, please swipe with alcohol first..

SENSITIVE/NORMAL SKIN: Dispense the TCA onto a cotton pad, cotton ball or a paper towel folded into a square of 4's. You can wear gloves to protect your fingernail polish and jewelry. Swipe it like a toner. You may continue swiping over and over for up to 1 to 2 minutes. Fair, sensitive skin should not swipe more than 1-1/2 minutes on your first peel. Avoid getting too close to the edge of the eye, the nostrils or the hairline. Right above the eye socket bone is fine. The longer you swipe, the deeper you will exfoliate.After swiping, the skin will immediately get very, very warm. Use a hair dryer on low to blow cool air on the face until it subsides.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Once you apply the TCA, it will "shut down" on its own. No neutralizers or anything else is needed. We suggest you wait an hour and then wash the face.

IF YOU ARE A "SEASONED PEELER" - HAVE OILY, TOUGH, SUN-DAMAGED SKIN, OR IF YOU HAVE OLD SCARS continue with the 'layering' technique for no less than 4 minutes. Also, exfoliating the skin the night before and/or prior to applying the peel will make it a more intense peel for tougher skin. CAUTION: Do not do this unless you meet the criteria mentioned earlier. It will be too intense.

>>IMPORTANT<< Do not put anything on your face insofar as moisturizers, oil, etc. during the peel -- it will totally shut down the peeling.

An hour after treatment, you may wash the face or shower.

On the first day the skin will appear to be sunburned. On the second day it will look like it has a tan and will feel tight. It might appear very "wrinkly" prior to peeling. For the next several days the skin will start to peel and reveal a much younger and more radiant look! AVOID EXCESSIVE SWEATING!! (Sorry workout people!)

To expedite the peeling process it is recommended that you use warm compresses a few times on day 2 and 3 (very warm water in a washcloth- applied to the skin), as your skin's oil may tend to hinder the process by hydrating the dead skin (common problem during the summer heat!) Rest assured, the skin WILL SLOUGH!

You should allow 5 to 7 days for the peeling time. Makeup may be worn, but refrain from any oily products or moisturizers.

Once you have fully exfoliated, you may return to your favorite daily skincare routine - however, sunscreen should be worn to protect fresh, new skin.
