This is the Sherman Harrill authorized training manual compiled by Sensei Roy Loveday.  It was the last request that Sensei Sherman Harrill made of Sensei Loveday.  It is intended to be a guide and an inspiration to the serious student of Isshin Ryu karate do.  It contains the history and formation of Isshin Ryu karate do and kobudo as well as biographies of Master Shimabuku and his instructors.   It contains in depth explanations of the primary application for the techniques found within the kata of the  Isshin Ryu Karate system, sections on each kobudo weapon used in Isshin Ryu, Inspirational writings, as well as many other useful subjects such as first aid, and karate etiquette.
    The manual is required reading for all students of our dojo, and contains the promotion requirements that have to be met for advancement.  You can contact Sensei Loveday by phone or e-mail to request a copy of the manual.  The cost is $45.00 which includes shipping and handling.
