People said I was crazy for having a computer in my car. Well, maybe, but I am more crazy than that. Not only do I like computers and home/car audio equipment, I also am a Laser fanatic. I am probably one of the few persons who knows what laser even stands for.

Well, I now have a Laser light show once again in my car! I used to drive an '88 Honda Accord when I was 16. Back in my accord, I used a red Helium-Neon laser aimed at mirror which was mounted on a 'grid' which I made to go over one of my subwoofers in the trunk. I had Everything alighned just right so that when I folded the back seat down, the laser 'danced' around to the music inside the car on the roof.  I could even open the sunroof and pull up to a building and it would project on the wall. This was quite cool. Well, 3 years later, things have not changed much. I am still very intrested in Lasers, as well as Audio. I currently own a red laser pointer that I paid over $100 for about 5 or 6 years ago, I also own a red Helium-Neon laser I bought for about $100 6 years ago back in 7th grade, I picked up a green Helium-Neon for $200-$300 a couple of years ago, and last year I bought my newest laser, a Green Laser pointer. This pointer is Awesome!! The pointer is brighter than any red pointer on the market, by about 5 to 20 times. This is mostly because the eye is more sensitve to shorter wavelengths of light. This pointer can hit a low flying plane!! Easily. It has a rage of about 1-2 miles. One time I aimed it at a plane and I must have hit him becuse he turned on his landing lights, swept them from back to front and then to the back again, and then turned them back off.
My current Laser show consists of the green Helium-Neon laser aimed at a mirror mounted on a 'grid' on one of the subwoofers. When the sub moves, it moves the mirror quite a bit and makes really awesom random patterns on a nearby building or people standing behind my car (below their eyes of course). I can pull up to 2-3 story building about 20 feet away, open my trunk, stand back and watch and listen to the show. I do not have any pictures of the laser yet, but will be taking some very soon.
