ZZ Top Tour Dates

Hi all! This is the 8th version of collected ZZ Top dates. All adds or corrections which are new since the last list will appear in red.

I would like to thank those of you who have contributed to the list since the first publication. Many have added valuable information to this list, and most are noted by their contributions (when they don't ask me to omit their names!).

It is important to note that many of the dates listed MAY BE WRONG. My experience is that a published date is not verification of a performance. This is particularly true of Rolling Stone & Circus Magazine, which are sometimes right, but often are not. I have included these listings as a basis of research. The best verification is a display ad or text listing in a local newspaper or entertainment weekly. Even better is a review of a show that has occurred. So please use this list as a starting point, and consider it the best info available to date.

If you have any updates or corrections, please email them to me at mrrandom@nospamcomcast.net. Please be sure to delete the phrase “nospam” from that address. Also, please include the documentation you have for the date: ticket stub, newspaper copy, etc. Also please let me know if you want me to use your name behind the listing. If any of you see an incomplete listing for your city, feel free to go to the library and try to verify a date in the local newspaper. I usually look for "Weekend" listings (which can appear either Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday in the local paper), or sometimes the Sunday paper will have expanded entertainment listings. If you can photocopy or digitally photograph your evidence and mail or email it to me, all the better.
