124 Sherman Road
Longview Washington
As a child I grew up at the Stella Lutheran Chapel. It didn't start as this church building but started in a room of the Williamson house along the Columbia River at Stella. I went to Sunday School and on through Luther League. At the time, I had to go to Trinity Lutheran Church in Longview for confirmation.
We were married 44 years ago here in this chapel. I attend church here with around around 60-80 other people each Sunday.
What a special parish it is....like a big family. Stella cares about the community. Ladies of the church make quilts for those who need them. Many go overseas to countries that are starving and cold.
We are without a pastor right now but hopefully it won't be long until we have a new one.
We'd love to have you visit our church in the wildwoods if you are ever visiting SW Washington. For more information call 360 423 3795. The church office is open on Wednesdays. There is a recorder for you to leave a message although someone is usually at the church.
