Best book in the series as of yet! I like Anakin and Tahiris' relationship/ romance. I think it stinks that they have to kill of Anakin in the next book. I am not looking forward to reading Star by Star. Jacen finally gets yelled at by his parents (it was well overdue!) Jania and Kyp explore a somewhat almost complicated relationship between the two. He invites her to be his apprentice. I'm not sure that would work out especially if they are in love with each other. I think it was well overdue the situation with Luke and Mara getting rid of her disease (or at least stagnating it) and having a baby. I like the name of the Baby. (Read the book and find out what his name is). I give this book only a 4 star due to a Jedi does die in this book. I am kind of put out with all these Jedi dieing.

To Play the Fool

While I like Kings' writing, this book just was only fair. This book was neither great nor bad just somewhat middle of the road. I felt that the author spent too much time dealing with the actual murder and not enough time dealing with the why of the murder. The main character to me was just blah...I probably would not read this book again. King is still a great writer but in my opinion this is not her best work.

The Curse of the Pharaohs

I am reading this due to the fact that I have read the last 6 or seven in the series. I decided to read this series from the beginning until the new book came out in the series. So far this book is interesting. I like the last book in the series and the way the lives of everyone have shaped up but its nice to see the humble beginnings of the characters and find out just why they are shaped the way they are.

The Westing Game

Ellen Raskin

This book was a read out loud book and I had a lot of fun reading this book. I remember reading this book in 9th grade with Ms. Rose. I enjoyed this book and while it still was a bit confusing it was still a good book and we both enjoyed reading it and discussing.

Three to Get Deadly

Janet Evanovich

This was a good Plum story. At the end it surprised me and I like when that happens. I like Evanovichs' style and find that I read her books fast and all the while laughing. This is a good series and I look forward to what is in store for the main character Stephanie Plum.

this book was even better than the 3rd book. Steph finally got some.....About darn time. Now if only she would give up and just totally move in with Morelli. I think however that this would probably end the series and well she would have to have babies...Read the book, it really doesn't get anybetter than the mystery and the on and off again love story.

Laurie R. King

Good book but more fiction writing then a real myster. While I'm not dissapointed I only wish I could tell where all this fiction is going. It was a fast read and I do think that the author could have speed up the plot and the book a bit. For what it's worth I did enjoy the story line I just didn't like the on and off again mystery. I did like the relationship between Kate and Lee.

The Princess Bride

Frankly we read this book out loud, would I do it again. NO WAY. There are times when a book fails to met the needs of the reader. This book was well more historical of Gilder then of anything else. Perhaps in this instance the Movie was truely better.

The Mummy Case

Elizabeth Peters

this is the 3rd book in the series of Amelia Peabody stories. This book was just frankly good not over the top good just good fast ok read. Ramses seems to be an arrogant smarty pants, I guess this doesn't phase me, I mean I have my own Ramses if I put it like the above.

I'm adding to my list of reading monthly. Someone mentioned I only read women writers and while I didn't think I did I really do. so here goes with a Man author.

Three to Get Deadly and Four to Score by Janet Evanovich

These books look great and I may read them one after another to make up for not reading them on time in each month- I'm not looking forward to reading Star by Star by Troy Denning. Also I'll be reading the next book in the Kate Martinelli Mystery books by King.

Otherland by Tad Williams. This book is going rather slow and frankly I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to get through it wish me well..... I'll also be trying to read Emma by Austen and keep up with reading Clarissa by Richardson.

one due to Family Illnesses and lack of will to want to read Star By Star I've been procrastinating about reading. I can hardly believe it myself but I've had a lot to deal with this year and I look forward to starting back up with reading. So I am combining This page to probably 4 months of books.
