This page contains links to several sites regarding the New Deal and its agencies.  It details the history of some of the New Deal agencies, both in current existence and not.  It also contains the official sites for several of the agencies and groups that FDR originated in the New Deal that still exist today.  The links on this page can give anyone information on the New Deal and its lasting impact on American society, government, and economy.

Social Security Administration History

This is a wonderful site to find the program and agency history of the Social Security Administration.  There is a list of numerous high quality links that are full of information on a variety of topics related to the Social Security Administration.  Select the above link to be informed about the Social Security Administration.

 

Civilian Conservation Corps

This is a site run by Civilian Conservation Corps alumni outlining what the CCC was for and what it did.  The site’s intention is to celebrate the CCC alumni and inform the public what they did in the CCC. 

Tennessee Valley Administration History

This site goes into great detail about the history of the TVA, which still exists today.  The site also has various other pages that give even more information on the projects that the TVA worked on.

New Deal Programs

This site is a great place to find a detailed list of the New Deal agencies.  This site has the year that the agency was put into action and what role they played in helping to reform the nation.

Agricultural Adjustment Act

This site gives information on the formation and development of the Agricultural Adjustment Act as well as what the Act did.  It provides the history of the AAA as well.

Tennessee Valley Authority

This is the official site for the Tennessee Valley Authority. This site includes lots of information on their current projects and status.

Social Security Administration

This is the Official website for the Social Security Association. It includes a lot of information on many advantages of healthcare in today’s world.

Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation

This is the official site for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.  It provides Americans information on the corporation as well as ways it protects the people’s deposits.  This site helps make money, banks, and the safety of our money more easily understood.   

U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission

This is the official site for the United States Securities and Exchange Commission.  It outlines the Commission’s commissioners, the Commission’s goals, upcoming events, and what the SEC does.  A very informative site about one of the remaining New Deal programs.
