During the 1920s, popular entertainment began to change very dramatically. This decade was the start of talking movies in theatres and the popularity of the movies grew. Many new actors and actresses emerged from this decade, such as Charlie Chaplin and Mickey Mouse. This new wave of movie entertainment also caused a change in music. The 1920s began a change and Jazz became the favorite music. Louis Armstrong and King Oliver became legends in Jazz. Along side with the music, new dances, such as the Charleston and the Fox-trot, were increasing in popularity. These dances differed from previous dances that had been popular in the past. The website presented accurate information about entertainment in the 1920's. The website focused on the major turning points/events, of the 1920's.
