WHAP Timeline Assignment 8000 BCE — 600 CE
Instructions: Take all of the following events, people, and places. For each, find the relevant
dates and the significance. Place everything on one continuous timeline. You must figure out an
appropriate scale so that everything is spaced out EVENLY. Multiple-year events need to be
bracketed. Please make a color code and corresponding key for events by geographical
area/political unit. WRITE THE DATE OF THE EVENT NEXT TO IT ON THE TIMELINE.
supplementary chronology should include a summary (2-3 sentences) of what each event/person
is and the importance. Timelines will be verified one week prior to the unit test (have timelines, get stamped that timeline is complete, keep timeline to use to study).
