Africa Assignment
Your task is to consider 2 men, Mansa Musa and Ibn Battuta. Both men were Muslims and they both took the haj. Both men had a great impact on their time; their journeys have interested scholars since.
1. Create a visual representation (a graphic organizer) of these two men. You will have to decide what characteristics to consider, and also the best way to represent the information.
2. Create an essay question that deals with Mansa Musa and Ibn Battuta. Your question may be either a comparative or a change over time question.
3. Write a thesis for your question.
You may do part 1 and 2 in small groups. Clarity will count on the visual representation!
