Places that can help with MS
Handling the hassles and troubles of Multiple Sclerosis alone can be tough. Thankfully there are places that you can go to for help. These places are dedicated to just about everything about MS and helping people with MS. The example I will be using is the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The National MS Society has been around since 1946 and has been aiding the fight against Multiple Sclerosis ever since.

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society was made to support MS research, MS education programs, and advocacy projects. The MS Society has expanded over time in members and size, and is now in many states. The Society is funded almost fully by donations, and has a variety of workers, some are volunteers and also Social workers. Services the Society offers will depend on its location.
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is great because it helps anyone in need of education, doctors, or medication. They do have a membership fee but it can be waived, however you do not need a membership to call the society seeking information on Multiple Sclerosis. The Society can help you with your MS by getting you into the several recreational activities they organize to help people with their MS. Examples of the recreational activities include yoga and aquatics, which are proven to help dealing with Multiple Sclerosis. The Society is affiliated with doctors so they can point you in the right direction you may need to be going.
People go to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society because they know it can help them in finding answers. People with MS aren't the only ones that can find help from the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. People that know someone with MS, or are in a family with a person with this disease come to the Society for help with things such as education so they can know what the victim of Multiple Sclerosis is suffering from. Also you can find the MS Society very helpful because of its self help groups and peer support. They can bring you together with people who would truly understand how you feel since they are suffering from the same illness.
