First of all MS is just the shortened form for Multiple Sclerosis which is an incurable disease that is two thirds more common in women than men and is most commonly in Caucasians that are 20-50 years old. This disease is classified as an autoimmune disease, and The target is aimed at the myelin sheath on your nerve fibers, this damages the nerve fibers and interferes with the nerve impulses. This disease can leave you crippled and having a wide variety of symptoms that can include blurred vision, unusual fatigue, and walking problems. Several studies have been conducted to find out new things about MS and scientists are beginning to understand more and more as these studies go on. Although this disease is incurable there are ways to slow the progression of it, and keep the exacerbations from coming back as often. There are several types of Multiple Sclerosis that include Benign, which means you have little to no progression of this MS after the initial attack, Relapsing Remitting, which is the most common MS that has you experience a series of attacks then a full or partial recovery, Secondary Chronic, which is a term for several forms of MS, and Primary Progressive, which is most commonly found in men and is a gradual fall with no remission period.
