Student Career Experience Program (SCEP) (Cooperative Education Program) Click on the above link for more information. The Student Career Experience Program (SCEP) offers curriculum related employment to students in certain academic disciplines. This program provides the student an opportunity to gain experience in his or her chosen career while attending school. Students in Bachelor, Masters, and Doctorate degree programs, as well as students in associate degree programs, certificate programs, and high school programs may qualify for SCEP.
The DCMA Student Career Experience Program (SCEP) is one of the tools DCMA uses to support the recruitment, selection, and development of entry-level employees, to rebuild a viable professional workforce in the future. This guideline describes the processes used to define entry-level employee requirements, and the recruitment, selection, training, and conversion process to career/career conditional positions. The desire is for SCEP employees to transition into the Keystone (intern) Program for further development to the journeyman level.
