I've also had the opportunity to do a little web design over the course of my career. It's neither my specialty nor my strong suit - nor, indeed, my preference, but it's really a necessity to have some skill with it when you're in design. www.solidica.com is the corporate site for Solidica, Inc., one of my major clients. Solidica's advanced Ultrasonic Consolidation metal joining technology and wide array of products and services called for a site that was elegant and easy to navigate, while its close ties to manufacturing and industry (which is often still on dialup or has no access to multimedia) restricted us to HTML and Javascript.
