Sister Agatha is an extern nun from the Our Lady of Hope monastery in New Mexico. A former journalist, Sister Agatha uses her investigative skills to solve murder mysteris. Oh, and she rides a classic, restored Harley motorcycle with Pax, a retired trained German Shepherd, in the sidecar beside her. If you saw Sister Agatha cruising down the highway, you'd stop and stare. That would be rude. Instead read the Sister Agatha mysteries.

"Bad Faith is the first book in the new mystery series featuring Sister Agatha. I really like the Thurlos’ writing and this book is no exception. Sister Agatha is an extern nun at the Our Lady of Hope Monastery located in New Mexico. As an extern, she is allowed to leave the cloistered monastery to run errands for the monastery. As the book opens Sister Anna is struggling to drive the monastery’s old car, nicknamed the Anti-Chrysler, but it needs major mechanical work and the monastery lacks the money necessary for repairs. When Sister Agatha finally gets the car to their mechanic, he offers to fix it if he can find the parts, but warns it will take some time.
