History of Luthien SeregonSon of Aranel Seregon and Tari Telrunya. Luthien’s origins trace
back to the beginnings of the Elven community of Arimar located in
the Deep Forest of Dareth. The community of Arimar was a small community devoted to protecting the forest and living in harmony with the land. The nation of Goldenshire made contact with the elven community of Arimar while expanding their forestry industry in the Forest of Ly-Tok. Tari Telrunya’s family was the first to start relationships with Goldenshire to help save and protect the forest from the evils of man. They believed it would be best for the forest as they would be able to further protect its future. Many years passed and the nation of Goldenshire worked with Telrunya’s family and kept the balance. However, the hordes in the north were particularly bad one year. Many elves north of Arimar had to flee and they sought safety in the village of Arimar. Tari was promoted to diplomat for her family during the year same year of the hordes increase. On a trip to visit with the Goldenshire council her company disappeared rumored to have been savaged by hordes from the north. Sadness overwhelmed Aranel and he had to get away from the thing that reminded him most of his wife, Luthien. Luthien was an orphan from that day on. He was supported by the remaining family of Telrunya and they sent him to the church of Solonor Thelandira to become a man. Luthien was taught to love the hunt, the art of the bow, the skill of a survivor, and most important the teachings of Solonor Thelandira. Luthien soon became a hunter for the community and protector of the forest. His close friend and companion of the hunt Huor Elensar Huor Elensar was an elf solely devoted to the hunt. Solonor was proud of Huor and Luthien’s skills. Huor was called to duty in the north to help purge the evil that remained in the Forest of Ly-Tok but Luthien was not called upon and denied when he volunteered to go. They explained his path was not meant to go north. Luthien missed his friend but continued to help with the community. Some years later the church told him he must leave and travel south. He will be guided by Solonor. Luthien was at a loss for words but his faith was strong and he would allow himself to be guided by the one he loved.
Luthien was back in Arimar and reunited with his father but his faith was strong and Solonor’s voice was loud in Luthien’s meditations. He will travel the new nations and spread the word of Solonor to those that will listen and purge what evil’s Solonor requests. Luthien has become a wanderer of Solonor and the road called for him. |
