History of Luthien Seregon

Son of Aranel Seregon and Tari Telrunya. Luthien’s origins trace back to the beginnings of the Elven community of Arimar located in the Deep Forest of Dareth. Luthien SeregonHis mother was of noble blood and bonded with Aranel at an early age. Aranel was born and taught to be a hunter and defender of the lands of the Deep Forest and devote worshipper of Solonor Thelandira. Aranel and Tari lived long together and after many years of happiness and at the suggestion of there friends and family brought Luthien into the world.

The community of Arimar was a small community devoted to protecting the forest and living in harmony with the land. The nation of Goldenshire made contact with the elven community of Arimar while expanding their forestry industry in the Forest of Ly-Tok. Tari Telrunya’s family was the first to start relationships with Goldenshire to help save and protect the forest from the evils of man. They believed it would be best for the forest as they would be able to further protect its future. Many years passed and the nation of Goldenshire worked with Telrunya’s family and kept the balance. However, the hordes in the north were particularly bad one year. Many elves north of Arimar had to flee and they sought safety in the village of Arimar. Tari was promoted to diplomat for her family during the year same year of the hordes increase. On a trip to visit with the Goldenshire council her company disappeared rumored to have been savaged by hordes from the north. Sadness overwhelmed Aranel and he had to get away from the thing that reminded him most of his wife, Luthien.

House SeregonHe traveled out of the Forest of Ly-Tok and headed south to New Corunsia and lived off the land. He hunted for what he needed and only sold when he had to. Aranel would never again be happy at the site of his son. Aranel longed for his bonded love and his old forest. His sadness was overpowering. His father discovered the art of drinking. It didn’t take long for the alcohol to take control of Aranel.

Luthien was an orphan from that day on. He was supported by the remaining family of Telrunya and they sent him to the church of Solonor Thelandira to become a man. Luthien was taught to love the hunt, the art of the bow, the skill of a survivor, and most important the teachings of Solonor Thelandira. Luthien soon became a hunter for the community and protector of the forest. His close friend and companion of the hunt Huor Elensar Huor Elensar was an elf solely devoted to the hunt. Solonor was proud of Huor and Luthien’s skills. Huor was called to duty in the north to help purge the evil that remained in the Forest of Ly-Tok but Luthien was not called upon and denied when he volunteered to go. They explained his path was not meant to go north. Luthien missed his friend but continued to help with the community. Some years later the church told him he must leave and travel south. He will be guided by Solonor. Luthien was at a loss for words but his faith was strong and he would allow himself to be guided by the one he loved.

House TelrunyaHis travels south were eventful and left many impressions on Luthien. Solonor taught him many teachings and lessons and he helped elf, man, and other creatures of the forest and land. Solonor took him to one more spot before he would let him find his path. Aranel dug himself deep in grief over the many years as Luthien aged but he could not overcome his grief and the alcohol was making things impossible. It was the darkest hour of Aranel’s life. Another night of drinking and Aranel’s life would be taken. Luthien arrived to find his father passed out from the previous night’s drinks in a run down alley of a small village in southern New Corunsia caked in vomit and piss. Luthien barely new his father but was by his lord to take the body of the drunken Aranel and bring him back to health and back to his homeland. Luthien was very happy to hear he was to head back to Arimar. He took Aranel back to the inn he was staying at and cleaned him up. Aranel was none to pleased to see an elf but was in no condition to resist with any strength he was very near his death bed. Luthien used his skills to bring back to health his father. Eventually, Luthien started north to return with Aranel to Arimar. It took a few days but eventually Luthien and Aranel realized who each other was. Aranel at first tried to flee what he fled once before but his son would not fail his god. Luthien confronted his father and brought him back to his senses. They bonded as father and son should on there way back to Aramir. Luthien soon discovered his father would survive and would confront the grief that took him away. His mission was a success and Solonor was pleased.

Luthien was back in Arimar and reunited with his father but his faith was strong and Solonor’s voice was loud in Luthien’s meditations. He will travel the new nations and spread the word of Solonor to those that will listen and purge what evil’s Solonor requests. Luthien has become a wanderer of Solonor and the road called for him.
