About me
I was born in Milford Center, Ohio, went to Fairbanks High School (1976), Capital University (BM 1980), The University of Michigan (MM 1982) and The Ohio State University (DMA 1989).
After college I taught at The University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) from 1988 to 1998, and then moved to Boston, where I now teach at The Boston Conservatory and Tufts University.
I'm an avid fan of camping and hiking in the summer and enjoy snowshoeing in the winter.
