Parking – “NO PARKING” signs will be posted a few days prior to each flea market. On the day of the flea market, you may park your vehicle by the curb if you are assigned a Curbside Space. If you are assigned a space by the fence or wall, you may temporarily double-park to unload your items and then move your vehicle to another location. Murphy Recreation Center is not responsible for parking tickets or towing fees.
Tables are not provided – you will need to bring your own table(s) and chair(s) as well as any bags/packaging materials for your customers’ purchases.
Dress comfortably. You may want to bring plenty of bottled water, as well as a hat/visor, sunglasses, sunscreen.
Pricing your Items: To make things easy for yourself and your customers, it may be helpful to clearly mark your price on your items. Make sure to have some change with you to get you started with your sales (a few one dollar bills, coins…). You should also have an apron with deep pockets, or a ‘cash’ box handy.
DO NOT LEAVE YOUR TABLE(S) UNATTENDED! We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
