The Tom Korytowski Foundation |
With the passing of Tom Korytowski, founder and driving force behind the Lawncrest
Musical Players, it was decided that a foundation should be established to ensure
that his work could continue. The Tom Korytowski Foundation has been established to continue the work that Tom championed with the children of Lawncrest and the surrounding communities. Musical theater will continue to be presented at the Lawncrest Recreation Center, in the Tom Korytowski Auditorium, assisted financially through the foundation. The older troupe, many of them graduates of the children's group, will benefit as well. The cost of staging a production can be staggering at times, and with the loss of the troupe's primary benefactor, it is hoped that the foundation will help to maintain the same level of activity from the group.
