Firasat is the co-founder of Muslim Gatherings.
A practicing Patent/Technology Attorney, he moved from Chicago to the
San Francisco Bay Area a few years ago. Being a well traveled, and very
socially active guy with a keen interest in meeting people, it was his
vision to develop a forum where Muslims from all walks of life could come
together and establish personal and professional relationships while helping
one another. You'll rarely find Firasat at home since he's always the
