2013 Activities Fisherman's Weekend April 19 - April 21 On Saturday morning we will be serving a earty Fisherman's Breakfast in the Adult Lounge. After breakfast we will holdour annual Fishing Derby! Bring your largest fish to the officeby 3:00pm! Prizes will be awarded for the 3 largest trout! Mother's Day Weekend May 10 - May 12 We will be holding a Welcome Back Wine & Cheese Party in the Adult Lounge at 5:00pm on Saturday. At 9:00am Sunday Morning we will have our famous Mother's Day Breakfast Buffet, Mothers eat for free! Memorial Day Weekend Friday May 24 After checking in come down to the Adult Lounge and enjoy a bowl of one of Valeries Famous Soups for a nominal fee. Saturday May 25 At 11:00am we will be having a Hayride! At 3:00pm we will have Candy Bar Bingo in the Adult Lounge. At 8:00pm there will be a Dance under the Pavilion. Sunday May 26 At 1:00pm there will be a Horseshoe Tornament at the Horseshoe Pits; bring a beverage of choice for entry. At 2:00pm there will be Adult Bingo in the Adult Lounge! At 8:00pm there will be Horseracing under the Pavilion (volunteers are needed for this event) Father's Day Weekend June 14 - June 16 At 12:00pm Saturday there will be a Horseshoe Tournament up at the Horseshoe Pits; bring a beverage of your choice for entry. At 5:00pm there will be a Beer and Wings Dinner! At 8:00pm there will be a Dance under the Pavilion! Italian Weekend June 28 - June 30 At 5:00pm Saturday evening we will be hosting an Italian Dinner in the Adult Lounge. The menu will include Italian favorites and will be accompanied by light Italian music. 4th of July Weekend Friday July 5 At 11:00am there will be a Water Wagon! At 3:00pm there will be Candy Bar Bingo in the Adult Lounge! At 8:00pm there will be a Dance under the Pavilion! Saturday July 6 At 2:00pm there will be Adult Bingo in the Adult Lounge! At 8:00pm there will be Horseracing under the Pavilion! (volunteers are needed for this event) Trophy Horseshoe Tournament Weekend July 12 - July 14 At 11:00am on Saturday our friends from Slither & Swim will be holding a reptile show under the Pavilion. At 12:00pm we will be holding our Annual Trophy Horseshoe Tournament up at the Horseshoe Pits! 50's Weekend July 19 - July 21 At 7:00pm Saturday evening we will be bring back our smash hit from last year, the Riverdale Drive-In! Break out those poodle skirts, greaser jackets, and white t-shirts! Country Western Weekend August 2 - August 4 At 5:00pm Saturday evening we will be having our Texas BBQ! We will start off the BBQ with the Tasting for our annual Chili Cook-Off! Following the Chili Cook-Off we will begin serving our Texas BBQ Dinner (Tickets avaiable in Office). Following dinner the will be a Hoedown under the Pavilion! Halloween Weekend August 9 - August 11 Decorate your campsites, judging for the Campsite Decorating Contest will begin at 6:00pm Saturday evening as will the Trick-or-Treating throughout the Campground! At 7:00pm there will be a costume parade and contest under the pavilion followed by a Halloween Dance! Bonfire & Cornroast August 16 - August 18 At 7:00pm Saturday evening we will be having our annual Bonfire and Cornroast followed by a Dance at 8:00pm! Family Field Day Weekend August 23 - August 25 On Friday Night there will be a Movie Night in the Adult Lounge! Movie being shown and exact time TBA. On Saturday we will be having a Family Field Day! At 8:00pm Saturday night break out those leisure suits and those platform shoes for Disco Night! Labor Day Weekend Saturday August 31 At 11:00am there will be a Water Wagon! At 2:00pm there will be Candy Bar Bingo in the Adult Lounge! At 8:00pm there will be a Dance under the Pavilion! Sunday September 1 Our Annual Country Fair will begin at 10:00am (a signup sheet will be available in the Office) At 3:00pm there will be Adult Bingo in the Adult Lounge! At 8:00pm there will be Horseracing under the Pavilion! (volunteers are needed for this event) Seasonal Bingo Satuday September 7 This bingo is a special event for Seasonal Campers only. All Winnings from Seasonal Bingo will be applied to the 2014 Season; Time TBA! Columbus Day Weekend Friday October 11 After checking in come down to the Adult Lounge and enjoy a complementary bowl of one of Valeries Famous Soups! Saturday October 12 Come down to the Adult Lounge at 11:00am to pick out a pumpkin for the Pumpkin Carving Contest then bring your pumpkin back to the adult lounge by 5:00pm to enter it in the Pumpkin Carving Contest. Viewing and judging will begin at 7:00pm and will be followed by the last Dance!
