Hello, My name is Rolando and I own a 1973 BMW 2002 Vin# 2587958
The main idea behind this website is to show the process of transformation of
this very cool hobby.
I have been looking for a BMW 2002 for a while, but I did not want to buy a
fully restored car since I wanted to do a few modifications myself and therefore
learning a little bit about the car too.
I had been planning to buy this car for a couple of years but in the mean time I
had gotten married, purchased a house, etc. and I've had to delay it a little
bit more.
Finally I purchased mine on march 2003.

I purchased this

When I saw the add from
www.bimmers.com/02
that it was being sold about 40 miles away from where I live; I decided to take
a look at the car. In the end he not only had one car but two 2002 bimmers. One
of them was in a fairly condition but the other one had a lot of rust around but
plenty of good parts. Also, the rusted one was a tii version but with a regular
engine. Roy (the seller) had both cars for sale as a package so I had to tow
both of them home... see link purchase date.
