When I got the 02, It had the original seats on beige. I decided to go with something newer and I purchased a set of front seats. One of the main problems I had was that the rails track for the original seats are wider than the new ones that I had. So, I went to my local Home Depot and purchased a couple of sheet of metal thick enough to hold my weight (1 1/2") and be safe enough to mount my new front seats. Of course, I had to cut this metal to the right size and drill holes to it. Once I removed the old seats from the car, I decided to use the same pre-drilled holes that the '02 had and make new closer holes on the sheet of metal. Once I burned one of my drills doing this and getting a new one, the fit perfectly !!  Here are some pic's
