Welcome to JMPNDGZ ProductionsChristmas letter 2007Home of Penny, Luke and Jesse The Jump'N Dogz* Custom Artwork - Pastels of your dog
Winter, spring, summer & fall.... WINTER - 2006 started out nice and quiet. We took on a home improvement project - putting tongue & groove wood paneling on the ceiling of a spare bedroom. It was a slow process (mostly due to lack of experience). But, it turned out beautiful . We are so proud of ourselves <VBG>. SPRING - We went to Scottsdale, AZ for a 3 day dog agility event in March. We caravanned with 4 other car-loads of friends (human & dog). We had a great time in Scottsdale; the warm Arizona springtime air is just the thing after a cold NM winter. As the weather warmed in NM we spent more time outdoors. Living on one acre has its advantages (privacy, room for dogs to run, space for agility equipment). But, minimal yard work is not one of the those advantages. We also spent a lot of time at agility trials. We probably competed in 6 agility trials in the spring. SUMMER - We went to Brazil for two weeks in June (winter in the southern hemisphere). The trip was wonderful. we spent a few days in the Amazon. Yes, on the Amazon in a boat on the river. We caught alligators, danced with the natives and ate bananas off the bunch. we then went to the gold country of Brazil. We spent a few days in the town of Ouro Preto. This was one of the most beautiful towns in the world. Besides its charm, it is known for its precious stones/minerals/jewels. This is the place to buy jewelry for a great price. We then went on to Rio. Visiting Rio is a must. But, the Amazon and Ouro Preto are still our favorites. FALL - Agility season again! Jesse, our youngest dog made his agility debut. He's a natural and loves to compete. He finished his novice titles this fall and is competing at the "Open" level now. Penny (or Penny-Perfect as she's known) completed her Master Agility CHampionship title. She can now put the title "MACH" in front of her name - MACH PENNY. Mr. Luke started over in the "Performance class" of agility, which is like a veterans class. He's worked his way back up to Exellent and racked up a bunch of placements (all first place). WINTER - Once again winter is upon us. It was slow getting here, so when it hit it was a rude shock. We went from shorts one day to parkas the next. This is the time of year we settle into our home and think of new projects to work on. We're doing some painting right now. But, we're just at the planning phase of our real winter projects. You'll get to hear about those next year. Happy Holidays, Ray & Stacie |
