|
there are actually several different methods to close the browser window. 1) right click on any of the navigation buttons (top left corner) and click 'Close' 2) click the stop (x) button twice (the first time will stop loading the page, the second will close the window) 3) press the escape (esc) key. note: if you used one of the slidescreen buttons to move the window to another screen, or off-screen, pressing escape will first move it back to the original position. pressing escape again will close the window. |

| 6. someone told me about a popup blocker in this thing, is that just a myth? top |
|
| well...no
one really knows for sure. some say it exists, some say it
doesn't...i've heard stories...stories of old versions of uB! beta...one's
that were plagued with popups! popups running rampant and spreading
like the black death. no one could stop them, not even the program's
strongest algorithms! until one...one block of code...he came and
triumphed over the wicked popups, until all were blocked and the land was
free to be surfed once again!! ...some people are still skeptical...but i've heard that if you right click on the navigational buttons (left corner) of a browser window, you might just find a way to summon this hero. some choose not to accept his help, some prefer to have him at their very side...night and day. but as for you, you must decide on your own which allies you will choose in this ever pressing battle against popups! |

| 14. what are these 'slidescreen' buttons? top | |
| uB!
is great for people who have dual (or more) monitors setup on their
machines. these buttons are designed to slide your browser window to
other monitors or just off-screen. - the slidescreen left button will slide it to a screen (monitor) on the left. or if your window is on a monitor to the right, it will send it one monitor to the left - the slidescreen right button is the exact same as the left one...but for the right. |
