violinist Myriam Cottin-Rack has performed throughout Europe and in North America. A consummate chamber music player, she has appeared as a recitalist and chamber musician at Banff Center for the Arts, Canada, the Aspen Music Festival in Colorado, Château de Champs sur Marne, France, Grand Festival d'Art Slave de Paris, Schlossweikersheim, Germany, and the Cincinnati Contemporary Music Festival. This season includes a concerto performance with the South Orange County Chamber Orchestra, and recitals at the San Joaquin Delta College and CSU Stanislaus.

Ms. Cottin-Rack is also an active orchestra player. She is the associate concertmaster of the Stockton Symphony and the Sacramento Symphony, and a member of the Napa Valley Symphony and Modesto Orchestras and the Sacramento Philharmonic Orchestra. She has performed with conductors such as Christopher Eschenbach, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Heinrich Schiff and James Conlon.
Ms. Cottin-Rack is a faculty member of the San Joaquin Delta College, where she teaches violin and string ensemble.
After graduating from Paris Conservatory (CNR) Ms. Cottin-Rack moved to the US in 1998. She is finishing her Doctorate of Musical Arts (DMA) at the College Conservatory of Music (CCM) in Cincinnati, Ohio. She holds a Master of Music in violin performance from CCM. Her mentors include Dorothy Delay, Won Bin Yim, Piotr Milewski, William Fitzpatrick, Stefan Georghiu, Peter Oundjian, pianist James Tocco, members of the LaSalle String Quartet and the Tokyo String Quartet.
Ms. Cottin-Rack currently resides in Stockton, California.
