If you love listening to music, keeping up with the latest music trends, or specialize in the classic blasts from the past then becoming an intent DJ may be the perfect thing for you.
However, DJing involves much more than just simply playing your your MP3s for a group of listeners. The pay is lousy (your services are free/volunteered). This is for fun and enjoyment and a hobby for most.
It really isn't as hard as it sounds, experience as past Dj is not needed. If you are interested please stop by #Mystic_Radio and or email.

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old, not offended by adult content and/or language. irc.bondage.com is an adult site orientated to the BDSM LifeStyle and you will be exposed to sex and various kinks/fetishes. You must be accepting to all.
- Basic Skills First of all, to become a successful DJ you must have a love for and interest in music.
- You must be outgoing to promote yourself and interact effectively with a wide group of listeners. Personality In addition to being a music lover is a must. Ability to build an online personality. Since your listeners don't see you and interact with you like they would an offline DJ, it's important that your personality shines through online so your listeners can identify with you.
- You should have the ability to keep your listeners engaged, entertained, and most importantly, dancing and hopping about.
- Ability to interact with your listeners.
- You should also be able to efficiently perform several tasks at once. You will have to be aware of your audience at all times, watch how they respond to what you're playing, and always be prepared to switch it up if they don't seem to be enjoying what you're playing. You will be in a minimum of 4-5 rooms with the possibility of up to 10. (of course not all are always active at the same time)
- You will need at least 500 MP3's (it has been done with less but for a 2 hour show it takes 20 - 25 songs and you don't want to play the same thing every show.)
- High speed internet connection (DSL, Cable, T-1 or higher)
- Microphone (we have considered individuals with out one that have a strong online personality and ability to interact with the listeners)
- Ability to speak English clearly
- Agree with the rules Mystic Radio has for it's Djs
- Understand your time here is on a volunteer basis. Not even the owners get paid here it is 100 % non profit non income generating.
- Availability to commit to a specific shift - minimum of 2 hours a week is required
- Responsible
- Software - There are specific Djing software available such as SAM, but also available to use is Winamp with shoutcast DSP (don't worry if that doesn't make sense we can explain)
- Most important ability to enjoy and have fun. When it's not fun anymore then it's time for a short break for a bit.
