57. Christine (Christina) Nelson was born in Apr 1866 in Sweden.

Christine married Peter Olson on 26 May 1883 in Chicago, Illinois.

58. Joseph Merneigh was born in Mar 1864 in New York and died in Chicago, Illinois.

Joseph married Annie Deborah Abram in Chicago, Illinois.

Children from this marriage were:

i. Elizabeth Ellen Merneigh (born on 15 Oct 1893 Chicago, Illinois - died on 3 Jan 1968 in Chicago, Illinois

ii. Annie Merneigh was born in May 1892 in Chicago, Illinois.

iii. William Merneigh was born on 27 Apr 1899 in Chicago, Illinois and died in Apr 1964 in Elgin State Hospital Kane County, Elgin, Illinois, at age 65.

59. Annie Deborah Abram(S) was born in 1871 in London, Ontario Canada and died in Chicago, Illinois.

Annie married Joseph Merneigh in Chicago, Illinois.

60. Carl H Blum was born in 1868 in Germany and died in 1953 in Spring Valley, Illinois, at age 85.

Carl married Catherine Halm .

Children from this marriage were:

i. Carl P Blum (born on 5 Jan 1891 Chicago, Illinois - died in Mar 1983 in Spring Valley, Illinois

ii. Oscar Blum was born in 1898 and died in 1988, at age 90.

61. Catherine Halm was born in 1869 and died in 1949, at age 80.

62. William H. Phelps, son of Alpheus Hanley Phelps and Barbara Ann Nichols , was born in Feb 1854 in Mallory, Clayton, Iowa.

William married Sarah Jane Hamlett on 8 Nov 1885 in Elk, Clayton, Iowa.

Children from this marriage were:

i. Pearl E. Phelps (born in 1896 Iowa - died in 1929 in Spring Valley, Illinois

ii. Thomas William Phelps was born in Mar 1892 in Mallory, Clayton, Iowa.

iii. Frank Henry Phelps .

William next married Cynthia J. Hinkle , daughter of William Hinkle and Clarrisa Eads , on 10 May 1882 in Guttenburg, Clayton, Iowa. Cynthia was born about 1864 in Delaware, Iowa.

Children from this marriage were:

i. Grace Phelps was born about 1884 in Elk, Clayton, Iowa.

63. Sarah Jane Hamlett, daughter of Thomas Hamlett and Mary Ellen McCartney , was born on 22 Jul 1865 in Little Wildcat, West Virginia and died on 12 Oct 1928 in Plainfield, Iowa, at age 63.

Sarah married William H. Phelps on 8 Nov 1885 in Elk, Clayton, Iowa.
