This summer, the NAF was contacted by Tower Recon, a contracting firm located in Babylon, New York. The owners Jim Kavanaugh and Guy Winters told us that they would be hosting a fundraiser and donating the proceeds to the National Amputation Foundation.

Jim and Guy have several family members who were in the military and their company makes it a point to hire veterans.

The fundraiser was a wonderful affair.
It was held on September 6, 2008 and attended by well over 100 people.
Jim and Guy along with Kat Scheips went above and beyond anything that would have been expected, hiring a band to entertain their guests and having two executive chefs preparing the food, while they hosted an all day event that began at 1:00 PM and ended at 11:00 PM.
