The N3KZS APRS System

The traveling ham who has APRS (Amateur Packet Reporting System) in his vehicle can see the status and frequency of this repeater on his screen. A status message is output on the APRS frequency every 20-30 minutes showing the location of the main repeater site and the frequency and is displayed as IRLP 7070. Additionally, it shows the status of the IRLP node as available or will display the node that it is currently connected to on the APRS screen. This can be displayed at home on a computer running APRS software.
