Singer/songwriter, Nadine Shanti and guitarist, Bruce Barnard, draw upon their combined influences of jazz, pop, folk and old-school soul. The end result is a glorious celebration of music that is timeless, pure and simple.

Swing favorites, Brazilian classics, pop standards and original songs: all are presented in a sophisticated, meticulously crafted setting , imbued with subtlety and taste.

Shanti and Bernard first met in 1979, the year that they both moved to Seattle, he from Detroit and she from New Orleans. Well-versed in a variety of musical styles, Barnard has performed with the likes of pianist and comedian, Steve Allen, been an integral part of the rhythm section of popular dance band, Caravan, and founded the Seattle Jazz Guitar Society.

Shanti has established her reputation in the Pacific Northwest as a singer of great talent, charm and wit. She has toured Okinawa, Indonesia and Japan and headlined jazz festivals as far away as Australia. In Seattle, she performs regularly with the Everett Symphony under the direction of Dr. Paul-Elliott Cobbs. Two Cool premiered as a duo last year with their performance at Everett's historic Hartley Mansion.
