Musicians Carla Carnegie, Nancy Davis, and Debbie McClelland form the Spokane area group, Thistle'n Thyme; with Carla primarily on fiddle, whistle, and accordion, Nancy on harp, keyboard, and vocals, and Debbie on hammered dulcimer. They have delighted audiences in the Spokane area recently as they performed for First Night, the Saint Andrew's Society Burns Dinner, Celtic Odyssey, The Spokane Fall Folk Festival, the Highland Games, ArtFest, and private functions from weddings to Irish pub nights. Thistle 'n Thyme is partial to traditional repertoire from the Celtic Isles but also enjoys playing American tunes, contemporary Celtic ballads, traditional Christmas carols, and Scottish country dance and contra dance music. Members can be hired in various combinations as well as in trio and can provide additional musicians as requested.
