“For as long as I can remember, I have loved working with my hands and creating — from building forts under willow trees in Indiana to building rock walls along the shores of Lake Manitou in Canada. In my earlier adult life, this love manifested itself through gardening and refinishing furniture. Over the past 10 years, that love has evolved into painting. I have been fortunate to study with several artists who taught me the importance of drawing and composition and who nurtured my love of color."
