Our son, Zachary, is a senior at Western Oregon University in Monmouth, Oregon. He is majoring in music (Cello Performance). He has a steady girlfriend, Keeley, who is also a music major (Violin Performance). The summer of 2007 they spent in Victoria, B.C. at a music conservatory, and the summer of 2008 in Europe, touring with a choral group.

My hobbies include playing on the computer (e-mailing, creative writing, HTML, web page updating, etc.), reading, counted cross stitch, knitting, and watching TV. I'm a Trekkie from WAY back (so far back that I refuse the new name "Trekker"). My current favorite shows are The Sentinel and Blood Ties (both canceled). Among my other favorites I would have to include Forever Knight, also a canceled, older series.

We share our home with two cats, Strider and Inky; and a tankful of walkingsticks (aka - the bugs).
