The Nickel City Line is an HO Scale model railroad set in the Allegheny
Mountains of Pennsylvania. The railroad is a free-lanced short line railroad
which operates 102 miles of single track mainline between Harrisburg,
Pennsylvania and Ridgway Pennsylvania. This web site is designed to
provide users an opportunity to learn about the history of the railroad and
take a virtual tour of the layout.  Enjoy!!!!

WORK CONTINUES ON THE NEW HARRISONBURG ROUTE.  OPS SESSIONS WILL RECOMMENCE IN EARLY 2010.............................................

Check back often to see any progress.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
Due to the cut in schedule for the new Harrisburg route, engineers and passengers
should anticipate delays.  One or more Nickel City Yard tracks will be placed
out of service during the early phase of the Harrisburg route cut in.  Trains will
be forced to stage in neighboring towns until the limited yard trackage has been
cleared by the Yardmaster.  The management appreciates your cooperation
during this major capital improvement project.
