"A Civil War Reader - Letters, Reminiscences, and Rosters / Reports. Reminiscences and Rosters" edited by Edwin A. Norman has been reprinted by Washington County Genealogical Society (WCGS).The six journals, begun in 1995 as part of the annual member packet, have been combined into one book, dedicated to Mr. Norman. During the years 1995 through 2000, the "Readers" were published by WCGS each April, timed to coincide with the anniversary of the Battle of Plymouth. The 230+ page reprint has been dedicated by WCGS to its past president and editor, Edwin A. Norman, in recognition of his significant contributions toward the collection, dissemination, and preservation of the history and genealogy of the Washington County and Southern Albemarle region. Researchers, both genealogical and historical, have and will continue to benefit from Mr. Norman's excellent research.
