AMBROSE REUNION
Saturday, June 7, 2008

Hello Everyone!

Every two years the descendants of David and Susannah Ambrose from northeastern North Carolina hold a reunion. Records for this couple began in Chowan County, North Carolina in 1715. Their descendants settled primarily in Tyrrell, Washington, and Dare counties. Today we are located all over the United States.

This year The Ambrose Family reunion will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2008 at the Chowan County Fairgrounds in Edenton, North Carolina.

The building is air-conditioned, handicap accessible, and parking is free.

Doors will open at 10:00 a.m. and lunch will be served at 12:00 noon.

This year our meal will be catered by the American Legion. Because our meal is being prepared for us, the reunion organizers need to know ahead of time whether you are coming. Folks who wish to attend will need to make a RESERVATION. Cost for the lunch is $8.50 and payable at the door. Guests are welcome to contribute salads or desserts to the meal.

We are going to hold a “Silent Auction” to help raise money to pay for the hall rental and postage. This is a great opportunity to donate those items in your attic or garage that you no longer want.

To get on the mailing list for the reunion, please contact Jean Robinson.

Also, if you would like to know if you are related to this family, please email me, Jean Robinson, at phatmom@snet.net

Hope to see you there!
